I’m usually in the ACT side of this forum but today, I am here because I just got back my PSAT score!! I thought I didn’t do so hot, but I got a score of 1400 (700/700). I’m not really sure how this score translates over to the SAT scale. And also, what could I expect to get on the real SAT?
I’ll be taking the new SAT this coming March. What should I do to improve my score?
Thank you all very much and have a great day/night!!
you would expect about the same thing. The real SAT is out of 1600, the PSAT was out of 1520. If you wanted to get a score out of 1600, Khan Academy offers a free Practice test that is graded on the 1600 scale.
Now that the old SAT is about to finish up, I have a feeling a lot of Test Prep companies are going to be coming out with a lot of New SAT things to help us students study. Khan Academy has loads of new SAT material.
Great job though, you’re in great shape for the real SAT as it is!
Please print and read your full score report for you PSAT - It actually is pretty helpful in guiding you about where you are strong and where you could work to improve. see this little video https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=nzCSIilL3WQ&feature=youtu.be
