What does Pass/No Pass mean?

<p>Do the units for a "Pass" still transfer? I'm assuming you shouldn't get a "Pass" in a pre-req. How does UCLA or UCB look at a "Pass"?</p>

<p>Also, would 2-3 W's look bad on a UCLA or UCB application for next year?</p>

<p>dont use p/np for a prereq.</p>

<p>p/np classes dont affect your gpa, they just give you units. They transfer if its a uc-transferable class.</p>

<p>Someone on here got into UCLA last year with like 12 W’s.</p>
