What does SCS look for?

I'm really interested in Comp Sci here, but I have heard that it is very difficult to be accepted. I was wondering what exactly is the criteria for SCS-is it more numbers/stats based, or is it more like an Ivy with essays and EC's playing a large part? Also, do relevant CS activities or experience in high school play a part in evaluation?

ECs, essay and stats all play a huge part. For a solid chance, make sure to have a 3.8+ GPA, 2100+ SAT, a very passionate essay and a good amount of EC activities. CS activities certainly can’t hurt. Good luck!
