what does it look like? big? or small? lol

it is a big fat envelope

It’s a big white envelope.

so if you get a small white one, it’s a decline?

Yeah, it’s a rejection because the reason it comes in a big envelope is that they have all this information in it about the school, freshmen year, etc. A rejection is like only one piece of paper basically saying you didn’t cut it, but I’ve never gotten a rejection letter and would not like to receive one now hint hint NYU ^___^

are we suppose to get them today?

We were, but I didn’t get anything today. I called yesterday and the lady I spoke with said that if you don’t receive anything by the 9th we should give them a call to see what’s going on. I really hope it comes tomorrow =/

Edit: I live in Georgia by-the-way. You might get it today though if your mail person hasn’t come yet.

your mailman already delivered today? what state are you from

Oh, sorry. You must have read my post before I edited. I live in Georgia.

damn , i’m worried, although, i’d rather not know at all.

I’m worried too, but I have so much anticipation built up I’m starting not to care if I got in or not =/ But then again, if I got that big envelope I’d be screaming all over the place haha

ha ha ha, same here! but I’m already so set on going to Rutgers, and it’s like the desire for NYU has faded through time. I’m no longer anticipated to go, but yeah, if i get the big one, i’m gona scream and jump up and down in public. lol

If it’s not NYU it’s either Pace or Eugene Lang for me.

Hahaha I would do the same thing. I actually walked outside in my purple socks and purple satin bonnet to check the mailbox thinking I got a letter from NYU : (

It’s not “folder size”? Just asking because I’m heading out of town and need to leave 3 days’ mail in the mailbox and we have NOT gotten the packet and I was worried it would take up too much room.

I wore purple yesterday, didn’t work for us! Back to my basic black today…we’ll see how that works.

And…Happy Easter to y’all.

should have applied to Rutgers :)

It’s about folder size or just a tad bigger. If you have a normal mailbox, then it should fit fine with three days of mail as long as you don’t get massive amounts of mail.

I big fat envelope full of hopes and dreams. . . . .

The envelope is a little bit bigger than a piece of paper I believe. That’s how big the envelopes of my other acceptance letters are. Now if only I got one from NYU…mmmhmmm…

Its a big white envelope with a purple folder inside that seems to glow… until you see the FA offer. Here’s to crossing our fingers for Ivy acceptance or major scholarship!

It might be a flimsy post card (it was at our house) saying the big envelope is coming soon.
