The title says it all. I haven't visited Skidmore yet, has anyone visited the campus?

I visited Skidmore last November. It is absolutely gorgeous. The town is really nice, and it is a beautiful drive to the campus. I was really impressed with everything that Skidmore has to offer. It is a little hilly (remember that Florida is flat), but very picturesque with lots of trees and greenery.

I agree, it is a gorgeous campus. However, be prepared for many Mercedes, Lexus and BMW's as there is a lot of money there. But there are not many campuses out there that are prettier.

It IS a beautiful campus, although when we saw it, there was about 4 feet of snow piled up--but the roads were clear! It's a mile walk into town, and Saratoga Springs, is definitely the best college town ever--great restaurants, cute shops, lots of local and student activity.

It's a pretty young campus, so all of the buildings are from the 60s or something. Don't go expecting to see one of those old, new england, campuses.

That said, it is pretty.

Well, it's nice, but not ZOMG BEAUTIFUL. Then again, I visited in the week after a snow storm, so the snow was melting away and the green grass was desperately trying to show through. Lol, kinda like the ugly adolescence if you will.

Apart from that, I guess it was a nice campus. Facilities were fantastic, but I personally grew tired of the omnipresent modern red brick buildings. There just wasn't alot of variety.

7/10 for the campus, I'd say. Nice looking, but not astounding. Saratoga Springs is definitely a nice college town though.

the campus is very nice, but like mairoula said, the buildings are from around the 60s. many buildings were just concrete, a slight disappointment compared to the beautiful trees that surrounded them.

wow that campus was AMAZING in my opinion. although i didn't see it in any snow. there is a new cafeteria with great food - better than any other campus i have visited. the dorms are big, the people are social, the food is great, the academics are challenging but interesting - this makes the whole school seem even more attractive in my opinion...
