I was just curious as to what courses AEM freshmen take because I would like to see the similarities and differences between their courses and mine. Do they take Intro to Microecon like ILR students and possibly A+S econ major freshmen?

Also it is possible for an ILR student to take some AEM courses right? What about Arts/Sci courses?

we have two required AEM classes (intro to AEM, intro to bus. management & the case analysis for that class), and if you didn't get a 4 or a 5 on the ap macro or micro tests, you have to take intro to macroecon/microecon.

i'm pretty sure it's possible, but AEM kids might get first dibs since it's their major.

Wait AEM kids have to take both intro to microecon and intro to macroecon at the same time during the fall semester or one of the courses per each semester of the first year?

Thanks again.

Also how are AEM 1st years allowed to take intro to business management since that is a 200 level class? Am I, an ILR student, allowed to take that course?

no you take either macroecon or microecon in your first semester depending on whether you placed out of one of the other or not. if you've placed out of neither, then you take microecon first.

idk, it's just on my schedule and it says that most freshmen take it together.
