Mainly geared toward SCEAers, but what does your eli account page look like when you go to check your decision? Does it go right to a screen with a letter on it? Do you have to click a link that says like, "Your Admission Decision."

Just so I know what to expect...

I think unicorns fly out of your screen in front of a trail of magical non-sticky glitter if you’re accepted.

ah thank God the glitter isn’t sticky, that could be disastrous.

I believe it says “OMG, HAY”.

Short and to the pointless.

Acceptance: Something like a blue screen with Handsome Dan being adorable to music.

Rejection: They display the same screen, and dispatch your local SWAT team to take you away for execution. “Lebens unswertes Leben” an all that. clicks heels

When you get the email, does it have “Congratulations” or something in the subject line or is it kept as a surprise until you open the message? Or does it only say in the email that the decisions are out and you have to log in to your Eli account to see your fate?

^ You have to log into the Eli Account.

Harvard sents out the emails.

I didn’t get an e-mail. You just log onto your Eli account. You go the Yale Admissions Site and then there’s a link to Regular Decisions. Then you just log-in with your Eli Account.

If you get in, there’s a blue screen, with white writing that say: “Congratulations! And welcome to… YALE You’re a member of the Class of 2013!” The “A” in Yale is replaced by an adorable picture of handsome Dan and there’s background music of an a cappella group singing Bulldogs, Bulldogs:

Bulldogs, Bulldogs,
Bow wow wow
Eli Yale

I think if you’re rejected or wait-listed (in this case), it just takes you straight to the rejection letter…

^ouch
so i guess i’ll close my eyes and hope to hear the music then, huh?

make sure the volume’s on when you check ur decision!
