What does the graph x=y or x=f(x) look like?

<p>the simple thing about inverse functions is that you just switch the x and y and then solve for y.</p>

<p>An equal side means two things are equal. In your case x and y are equal. If y is 1, x is 1. I'm gonna go ask my little sister if she knows that.</p>

<p>the equal sign means just that... they are equal... it doesn't matter what side is on what side... I guess we just get taught the one way (y=5x, f(x)=20x^2 etc) that we forget?</p>
