I was wondering if anyone knew what the acceptance, wait list, and rejected letter reads? Like what does it start with?

I am so nervous for tonight...

I am so nervous for tonight...

Just relax. Don’t ruin the surprise when you read your acceptance letter ;)

The acceptance letter starts with “Congratulations!” It’s great. Good luck!

@ravenscroft- did you by any chance go to Ravenscroft in Raleigh? Just curious!

Yup. :P

Where are you from?

Well I currently live in MD but lets just say I’m really familiar with the Raleigh area. Used to date a guy from Ravenscroft actually…

@RaVNzCRoFT:

Do you ever hear the “Raisen’s Crotch” jab? I went to OLL and that’s what we used to call you guys.

@BlueUkiyo:

Raisin’s Crotch, that is

Nope, never heard that one. Doesn’t surprise me, though.

I’ll be honest, I’ve never heard of OLL. I just googled it and immediately found out what it is, but I didn’t know what it was until tonight.

Haha small world I guess. Maybe I’ll see you around.

The waitlist letter is curt but nice in its own way, I guess:

The Admissions Committee has decided to offer you a place on the wait list for the freshman class entering next fall at Washington University. If you would like to accept a place on the wait list, please read our FAQ page and submit your response by clicking on the “Wait List Response” link by May 1, 2013. You will also receive notification by mail.

While we are not able to offer you a place in the class at this time, we would very much like to work with you if there are openings in the class.

If you have any questions, please feel free to call any of us in the Office of Undergraduate Admissions.

I’ll only be happy if i get a free t-shirt in the mail with my acceptance

You do. A dark green one.

I thought that was only after enrollment?

Haha, oh yeah. I guess it is. Sorry if I got anyone’s hopes up.

It’s ok I just wanted to check thanks for the info tho!
