What does this acceptance mean?

I recently got ‘accepted’ to UCF but I don’t understand what the acceptance is saying -

“You are being offered the opportunity to begin your education at UCF in the summer term rather than fall.”

I’ve read other peoples questions who had the same exact acceptance, but theirs said that their enrollment will continue into fall. Mine doesn’t. Does that mean I only got accepted for a summer term or I can start in the summer and then continue into fall?

PLEASE HELP MY PARENTS ARE VERY CONFUSED AS WELL

I think it means you are accepted to begin during summer term rather than the much more traditional fall term. Nothing more. I wouldn’t read too much into the exact wording. First time freshmen aren’t accepted just to one term of college!

Call them to get clarification, start dates, etc. And congratulations!
