What does this mean? Please.

I just received a handwritten card from Northwestern today, postmarked 3/20/2006. It read this:

Dear _______,

Thank you for recently visiting Northwestern University. We hope you enjoyed seeing the campus and we look forward to our future contact with you. Best of luck as you continue the admissions process.

Sincerely,

Nothing, they send that to those who visit their campus. At least, I visited my junior year and got one.

Would they send a rejected student something like that this late in the game?? I mean, it was postmarked 3/20. Most decisions are made, I'm assuming.

You know how you have to sign in/fill out some card or something to let them know you're there when you visit? I think they probably just go down the list and send the card to everyone. I would be surprised if they took time to compare it to their applicant list.

But who knows? It may be nothing, but it can't be negative--so good luck! :-)
