I'm on waitlist. Haven't heard yet. A couple of days ago my major changed on AIS from biology to biochemistry in the college of ag and life science. I did not request this change. Why did this happen? Any insights?

Call them and ask. I don’t want to get your hopes up but if they’re changing things in your account, it might be because they’re considering you. Good luck!

Yeah, my guess is that its a good thing, because why else would they be changing something on your AIS if you were to ultimately be declined? It can only lead to good things I’m sure…!

The same thing sort of happened to me. On April 30th, my 1st choice major changed from Mays to Gen. Studies on “it’s” own. When I called, they said it was because they were considering me as well. I understood it really to mean that I wasn’t accepted by Mays and I was being given a second shot for Gen. Studies. I ended up being accepted to neither. Hope you turn out better than myself…

Were you applying as a transfer student, or put on waitlist?

I’m a freshman on waitlist.

When you say you weren’t accepted to either, you mean youve been denied admission? or you’re still on the wait list?

Aggiesister, I’m a transfer. Or WAS a tansfer. That’s why I said sort of.

Sadiemay, yes, I was denied admission with a cum. gpa of 3.9 and 3.8 in transferable hours, I’m still pretty shocked…
