what does this mean?

<p>well i went to this college site and it said this for the essay:</p>

<p>A full length academic essay of three to five pages, such as a literary analysis or research paper with a central thesis and strong supporting arguments. </p>

<p>does this mean i can just copy and paste my past literary analysis for i.e. The Scarlet Letter, an analysis of the character Hester Prynne, i did in my ap english class? or do i write a totally new one? but what threw me off was that it doesnt say what to specifiically write about... do you think that'll work?</p>

<p>I believe that means to send any academic essay you've written. I would assume your Scarlet Letter essay would suffice. To me it sounds like thats exactly what they're looking for. If still in doubt, you can always call/email the admissions office.</p>
