<p>What it really means is that since your name is "princetonwannabe", the Cornell people realized that you didnt have actual interest in their school and were just using it for a backup, and consequently they shredded your application. </p>
<p>And also, WJJ, you do realize that the username is not hard-wired into the circuitry of the computer, don't you? That is, the statement that you were "on [your] dad's laptop and therefore his name" puzzles me.</p>
<p>perro406- of course I realize that, but if you select "remember me" when you sign in, upon opening IE and going to the CC forums you are already logged in. Of course I could sign out and sign back into my name, but that would of course be too much effort.</p>
