What does Tuition - AS + Regents = ?

OK so i couldnt apply to Alumni Scholarship because when I was putting it together i realized one of my teacher's letter of recs wasn't signed and it was during our ski break.

But I applied to Regents and got it.

I am choosing between several schools and fin aid is a HUUUUUGE factor.

How much can i expect to pay?

Well no one can tell you anything unless you provide them with information...

(in state/out of state, EFC if you applied for FAFSA, etc)

Im in state (YAY)
got no CAL Grant (NOooo)
and my FAFSA EFC i remember was around 3000 (YAY (?))

I got a EFC for all my other colleges except berk and LA
how the heck are we supposed to check? i dont understand/have the instructions

Congratulations on getting Regents!

The way I understand it is....

COA (cost of attendance) - EFC = need

Not all schools meet 100% of need, but in my son's experience, the UCs were pretty generous in meeting 100% of his need with a combination of grants/scholarships, loans and work study.

My son received the Regents Scholarship at UCI and they met 100% of his need with grants/scholarships (no loans or work study).

stingystooge, I believe you should be able to check your provisional finaid package on the finaid website for UCLA which is www.fao.ucla.edu
