What Does UMD Mean By This?

When I was looking through Maryland's transfer page, I stumbled across this little "jem" "Students who graduate from high school and subsequently complete a minimum of 12 semester hours or 18 quarter hours during a regular term excluding summer school, at a regionally accredited college or university are considered transfer applicants."
I've taken the bulk of my credits this past summer (9/15) and I'm wondering since that's the case will I not be reviewed as a transfer student, and still as an incoming freshman to College Park? I'm applying for a Fall 2013 transfer to the University of Maryland College Park, btw.

Contact the school… It is the only way to be certain.

It says subsequently, which means after you complete high school, so if you completed the credits while you when you were a rising senior in high school, then you didn’t acquire them subsequently after graduating. Also, it says excluding summer school, and you got the credits in the summer. But I would still call them to be certain
