Hey guys,
Under the financial aid sections, the only thing missing are the tax returns. I sent them like a week ago and they were delivered according to USPS tracking. But, they haven't shown as received on the application tracker. How long does it usually take for them to process stuff they get in the mail. The tax returns were delivered last Monday.
Thanks in advance.

I sent my cmu financial aid signiature page or whatever in early-mid february (and tracking indicated it was delivered soon after), but it didn't appear online until the first week in march... still waiting on parents to finish tax forms though :P

I know for a fact that I signed my tax return, and my parents signed theirs. (I even had both of them sign.) I am guessing that the other copy they say they have received is actually the signed copy.

Same.

^^^^^

ahhhh.. im going to send those documents now. is it too late?

only 2 =[

My parent called them, and apparently it says "Signed Copy of Parent/s' Federal Income Tax Return" if you filed your taxes electronically, ex. HRBLOCK. You need to submit a separate page (The signature page of perhaps a paper form) to them via mail.

Also, they make financial aid reward decisions without this piece (but it still needs to be sent). Do it promptly, but dont overnight it or anything.

So I need to send the signature page from the paper copy of my parents' tax return? And have them sign it?

I guess I may only have sent the first few pages with their signature on the front. I wish the instructions had been more clear.

Yes, as far as im understanding.

Thank you for finding out! I'll go find those...

When i called them about why my financial stuff haven't shown as received in their website, they said they are about 3 weeks behind.

Yeah, they said that to me the first time I called. You really need to be specific about that line.

My FAFSA line is blank for some reason, even though every other school has gotten it electronically and CMU is the first school listed to receive it on my FAFSA page.

I was correct concerning the signature form. That was sent in a few days ago, and now they report it as having been received.
