We have different levels for each class: college preparatory, honors, and high honors. If you are in high honors classes for a certain department, you are generally qualified to sign up for the AP. For example, if you’re in high honors for the Social Studies department, you can take AP Econ, AP Psych, etc.

Teacher recommendation or a note from a parent saying you can take the class. I had a friend who had a final yearly average of a 72 in Honors U.S History, and his Father just sent in a note for him to take AP U.S History this fall.

Good Luck to him.

As long as you don’t go to the Area Technology Center, just sign up.

Absolutely nothing as far as I know. You just have to ask you teacher so sign off on it as they do for any class you want to take next year, and most of them will do so blindly. I’ve never heard of anyone getting turned down.

You must have a B or an A in your English class. You also must have a passing grade from your other classes. Then, you have to have your teachers sign you off, and you must sign a contract, saying that you won’t drop the classes. Of course, the classes aren’t guaranteed due to the limited amount of space.
