Same here, just had status changed to "acted upon." Received acceptance on the 3rd.

this is hell...cant wait till i can check my mailbox when dad comes home

My status still talks about preliminary review, so I called the admission officer for my state and he said that my application was being reviewed right now, then he went on to say that I was a strong candidate and that he recommended that I was accepted. So, we'll see, but I just wanted people to know that not getting an acceptance letter this week doesn't mean that you might not get one at all, and that having "preliminary review" on your status page maybe doesn't mean anything. I know you and I are both kind of freaking out about it, Nickel ^^

Good luck to everyone these next few weeks.

any applicants here from NY or CT? did your status change out of preliminary review?

@actingmom: "Acted upon" online status probably means accepted. Your D will probably get the big envelope in the mail in a few days. Goodluck!

From all the threads (and also my case), normally they mail decisions by USPS and the online status changes from "reviewing" to "acted upon" after 2 or 3 days. Got accepted letter dated 2/29 on 3/3 and online status changed to "acted upon" on 3/5

For all those waiting, don't panic - I know the anxiety but they have a lot to deal with and it happens in waves - so goodluck!

Thanks Sunday. But I bet I'm one of the weakest applicants. DX

Oh Nickel Xenon, please... Not to sound like a stalker or anything, but I just checked your Stats Profile and you shouldn't really be worrying. I should be the one worrying.

Also, it's funny how we're all so pro's at figuring out what means what. I just learned that ACTED ON would pretty much mean an acceptance. *nervous

wow Sundayinthepark! that's awesome news! I e-mailed the usc admissions office about my status but got some vague answer... which really didn't help me at all. But thanks for the heads up about the prelim review status, that makes me feel a lot better

Awh kev. You're so nice to me. xD But really, that SAT score is glaring at me in the face. It's a lost cause. sniff

Same here Nickel, my SAT just sours up my application.

My SAT score is nothing to write home about.

Yeah, it all looks fine up until you see 1850 slapped on the application. It doesn't help I scored lower the second time.

Well look at it this way, you SAT scores aren't the best Nickel Xenon, but I looked at your stats profile too and, honestly, you look like a solid candidate. I think you made up for you SAT scores with the rest of your app

Epic fail. x_______X But I have a question. See, my mom works at my safety, so I get free tuition. But then they offered me a $44k scholarship, so it's $11k a year for four years they'll be giving me. But...since I won't be getting a dorm, that goes way over. I'll only need at most $1500 for books... What about the extra cash?

ha, i'll bet money that i have the worst sat score out of every person who is a member on CC. 1810 baby. not that i'm proud of it, cuz trust me i'm not. i just have lots of extracurriculars and lots of leadership and great rec letters and an extremely unique extraordinary circumstance on top of first generation status. and i've got like 3.74 gpa uw but its like 4.3 or 4.4 w.

and i bet money that i have the worst gpa in CC.

ha dude i got a lower one the second one too 1750.

i got 1820 the first time around then i fell to 1690 the second time x.x and i think i might be rejected x.x 1820 SAT 3.5w 3.7 uw keyclub (service club) journalism 2 years debate 2 years band 4 years and +/- 3 or 4 more

I have an 1850. Got like a 17...something, can't remember, the second time. xD I have a 4.0UW and a 4.68W.

omg thats so good!!! lol
