I can safely say that I have the smallest of the smaller variety of dorm rooms on campus at UT. I live in Littlefield.

However the fact that my roommate and I live in a box and share a closet together the size of a hall closet, it has been okay. I love Littlefield for all of its traditions and all the friends I’ve made. It’s really cozy here and always a place to relax. I think it’s been a good stay for a freshman. It was made for freshman girls only - and after this year, I’ll live somewhere else.

For a freshman - this is a good place, if you can deal with not having the most spacious room ever. I mean, it’s livable. Not as bad as it sounds! :)

Live in Jester your first year, get the dorm experience most college students have. Then next year, instead of moving to an off campus DORM, get an apt. with some friends. The only noticeable difference between an off campus dorm & an apt. is you gotta cook your own food.

Thanks for all the input. I think Jester is now my #1 choice because San Jac is too expensive and I am doubtful I’ll be accepted into Honors. So aside from the smell, small rooms, and the community bath, is there anything else I should know about Jester?

Does anybody have their say on Whitis Court? I signed up for a resfig program and haave no idea what I’m gettng myself into. I saw the little pictures of it from the virtual tour…but thats all it was…a picture.

From what I’ve heard its a legit dorm to live in. The way its set up with the (4?) separate buildings, you can get away with defying guest hours more easily and such.
