Right now during the summer I found it hard to keep turning the pages of those big prep books and studying or taking all those practice test over and over. I need some motivation.

yesterday i had to go outside and do some major manual labor...lifting huge construction equipment with a friend...after sweating that hard in the sun i remembered why i cared about all this bull****. lol.

That's one way to get motivated maybe I should go cut grass. While it's like 92 degrees today maybe that will help thank you lol as if the grass isn't already burnt.

hahahah brand good one

Remembering that I dont want to be the dude flipping burgers in the backround at mcdonalds, and that I need this to get into a top college.

I've been trying to figure this out too... SAT studying all summer?

I hope it pays off. Because in October after I've taken it I don't want to have to take it again in November or December. With the big RD admissions being so close.

listen to good music...Fort Miner- Remember the name...listen to some motivational stuff..and when u get tired..start working out or exercising. I occassinally punch a bag when i get bored and do some ab workout..so right now i have a semi-six pack and a good punch. Still doing it..so eventually i will be strong and smart =).

Maybe that would be a good way of intimidating the admission boards in your essay.

I need to do serious prep for my 680 CR. I'm gonna be chill bout it and just read as much as I can. Go swimming and play sports. This keeps you active and keeps lethargy away.

I don't know why, but that Princeton ACT book was really addicting. Seriously. I always get sleepy when I read SAT books and subject test materials, but something was up with that book. I finished it in three days. I almost never finish reading test prep books.

well i have my reasons, specifically the fact that my gpa and my EC's are really below par, so the only way im getting in anywhere is if i really get some really good test scores.

scholarships

You can either have a ****ty life or a nice life. It's up to you. There that should keep you motivated.

Plus you're given the opportunity to succeed. Basically all you have to do is study and work hard. In third-world countries, they don't get the opportunities we do, in terms of education and in life. You're blessed just to be living in America, and with the freedom that you have...think about that..

I'm not exactly sure what motivates me...just want to do well, really. I know it's not going to make or break my life in the long run, but it would be very nice and comforting to have some nice scores come 6 months from now.

Unless by some miracle I do AMAZINGLY well when I get my june sat scores back, I'll be needing some serious motivation over the summer. =P

i say **** all this ****
go write a bestselling novel or something gangsta like that, probably better than a good score and more fun too

Everyone is entitled to there own opinion I suppose.

writing a best selling novel would be a lot funner than getting a perfect SAT score and also help you out in college admissions waaaaaaaay more than the SAT score. but the odds of you writing a best selling novel, i'm guessing, are significantly lower than you getting a perfect/close to perfect SAT score...

i am very poor and i love wireless technology
insult from my rich friends and love of technology motivates me

Perfect example that motivation comes in every shape and form.
