<p>My gpa is 3.5 uw and I am in the California bay area.</p>
<p>I know and worry that I won't be able to attend the "top" summer programs like Cosmos. So, what computer related summer programs (programming) could I take? I acknowledge the fact that this forum has many resources, but I need help narrowing down my choices.

<p>This is sort of my plan for summer (what do you think?):
Take a summer program related to engineer / computers / programming.
Take 1-2 weeks for service hours camp.
SAT prep
Find a little tutor job locally
Work on Boy Scout's eagle project</p>
<p>If I can't get into any summer programs I'm interested, should I instead take a community college course related to my interest?</p>
