hey guys, when you apply to college, what are the list of ethnicities?
i am asking this because i am multiracial so I can't decide what to put myself as.

African american/black
asian/asian american/ pacific islander
biracial/multiracial
caucasian
chicano/mexican american
Hawaiian native/Alaskan native
Hispanic/latino
native american/american indian
puerto rican
south asian

I guess you'll pick multiracial. I got this off of http://www.studentaffairs.columbia.edu/admissions/

You can download the previous applications universities had for the past year and check it out. Its gonna be pretty much the same. For example, the NYU application has a box for multiracial you check and write down your ethnicities.

A hint for all multiracial people:
If you're any part black, put that instead of multiracial.
If you're white + URM, put URM instead of bi/multiracial.

Fortunately, it's an easy (technically truthful) way to work around the system. Works against us 100% white kids though.

It doesn't help us "textureless math grinds," either.
