i agree with scissors and i can’t ever get kindergarten

believe is unbelievably hard to spell :)

sometimes i just have off-days where i can’t spell -ie words and other days where I can’t spell long words.

I find it hard to believe I won so many spelling bees as a child.

kindergarden… i mean kindergarten. grrrrrr

judgment (is it judgment or judgement?!)

physical

psychological

They were trying to figure out why they couldn’t spell. I have found that so many more people are dyslexic than most people realize. It has also been found that ones ability to spell has no reflection on their intelligence.

privilege… haha idk why I put a d in there most of the time… same with refrigerator…

I have definite issues with definitely (but my laptop is now doing spell checker everywhere so I’m fine)
Aggressor proved problematic when I had to use it about 4 times in one exam, although I rarely use it otherwise
Disappointment is the worst I think. Always want to do 2 Ss and 1 P

occurred… I always have doubts about this one

Spelling is sort of intuitive for me, it just irritates me when I detect a misspelled word.
However, I had problems with “recieve” and “receive” for a while.
Same with judgement and judgment, which are two different things, apparently…(legal vs non-legal)

I can’t spell “liqueur” or “unnecessary” without looking them up.

scissors

definetly
definitely

Let’s just bump this after almost 6 years, shall we?

Yeah…I really don’t understand how people find these without trying.

^I guess from the advanced search function, or from a Google search. I’ve actually unintentionally found several threads on here from 2006-2007 just by doing a quick Google search (When I type the title of this thread into Google, this thread is the 2nd result), so I’m guessing that that’s how the person who bumped this thread found it.

Sometimes I still write separate as seperate.

I’m ashamed to say that I’m one of those people who instinctively types “your” instead of “you’re”… I’m not stupid, I promise…
