I had this question in another thread but no one has answer it yet. So I thought posting it as a new thread.

In the myberkeleyapp, the status of my transcript says: "received-final," what exactly doe that mean? Does it only mean that they acknowledged/varied that the transcript is official, NOT necessarily the content of the transcript as in meeting the condition of admission (gpa and grades)? So does that mean there's still a possibility that my admission is provisional in terms of transcript/grade-wise?

Let's say, IF, they see that some of the conditions aren't met? How will they let us know? Will the status still say "received-in Review?"

I think it just means they verified that it’s your official transcript and nothing more. It definitely doesn’t mean they’ve calculated your credits and stuff. All my transcripts say “received - final” but they still haven’t told me which credits count, etc. (i’m a transfer student)

Really? they changed the status on mine very quickly from “not received” to “received-final” in two or three days (i didn’t go online to check during those two/three days) If i had a “in review,” i must have really missed it.

Ok guys, i officially have the answer (an undergraduate counselor told me). The “received-final” is just basically what puiyee53 said. They still have to check the gpa, grades, credits, and etc.
