My dream is to go to a CUNY school. They’re known for being big commuter schools. I’m from Pittsburgh, so I’m not from NYC. What exactly is a commuter school like? I’ve always been about my career. I’ve been working since I was 15, and I’ve never been much of a partier. I want to produce movies and music, and that’s pretty much my life. I socialize/hang out with friends sometimes, but I spend most of my time studying, or working. Im not worried about having the “typical” college experience. I think a commuter school suits me, but I just need more info. Thanks!
In terms of a CUNY school, nearly all of the students are from NYC and commute to school from home (rather than living in a dorm). Many people are only on campus for classes, and then go home afterwards and do their own thing.
Do you plan on moving to NY state to establish residency? If not CUNY may be quite expensive.
