What exactly is a "Position" in a club?

In Model UN, I am a senior delegate. Is that considered a position within the club? Im not President, Vice President, secretary, etc. But I am a senior delegate. Im more than a regular member, but Im not a boss.

yes it is you can put it down

Unless “everyone” is a senior delegate and you make it sound like something that is a big deal…

every one isnt.

Put it down then! It’s definitely a position.

i wont get in trouble?

the point of the position is just so that you are differentiated from other members. being a member itself is not a position; its invariably redundant and offers no insight to colleges as to your involvement in a club. Likewise, by holding a title that other members of the club do now (and assuming that most of the members are not senior delegates), then you show some uniqueness as to who you are in the club. Therefore, while nontraditional, this is still a position you should list.

do you have some kind of leadership role? are you involved in major decision making? if so, i would list it. dont list it just because it sounds important though.

it just says positions held, not leadership positions. So idk

hopeful: senior delegate or president. Your file readers are gonna look at it for 1/2 second and move on to be frank. Don’t fret. Just list sr delegate.

good luck to you.
