But don’t forget many first jobs come out of internships (as a rising seniors). Also – that salary won’t get you far in NYC – but getting into a good firm will be a great start to your career.</p>

<p>To be on Wall Street (and yes front office – but there are tons of careers and interesting jobs in both the middle and back office) there are lots of paths and lots of options. Pick the school that you want to go to and that you don’t have to go into crazy debt to attend. You may change your mind, you might find new interests, you might fall in love with someone who wants to live in the Midwest – and don’t worry, there are still finance jobs outside of London and New York (not as many, but you can still have a career outside of those cities).</p>
