Do they live in the dorm with us?
Are they adults or students?
What do they do?

RA is an acronym for resident adviser. Basically, RA’s are students (past their first years), who are employed (with pay and benefits) by Campus Life to somewhat regulate the dorms. Each dorm building has a specific number of RA’s on each section of a building’s floor, and they all fall under the jurisdiction of the RHD (residential dean I think), who is an adult. At orientation time, they explain who they are and basically enforce policies. They are under contract to live in their assigned buildings for a set amount of time.
