What exactly IS Cornells stance on score choice?

There is a lot of difficulty in understanding exactly which colleges support or dont support score choice. How does Cornell look at multiple test takes?

An official answer would be great. Thanks.

official answer: "we require that students report all SAT scores when applying".

Cornell does not look at the writing section, and does superscore (taking the highest mark of each section).

Does it depend on which school you apply to that it looks at the writing section? Or does that apply to ALL schools?

I think it applies to all schools. However, Cornell does require ACT with writing, so I have no idea.

I ask because I didn't do too well on my last SAT, but I DESTROYED the essay (12 out of 12) and it would suck that they looked at my crappy CR and M scores and not care for my writing scores.

Yah well I really hope they look at the essay. They may compare your essays with your admission essays. I know Harvard does this.
