What exactly is the lead program?

what exactly is the LEAD program ? is it better/worse/equal than the LBW

LEAD's for URM...and it's more prestigious & competitive than LBW I believe

Lead is "Leadership Education and Development". It is oriented toward "underserved groups". It runs at 12 grad. B-Schools, not just Wharton. It costs $750 and you choose 4 of the 12 schools with no guarantees as to which you'll get.

LBW is "Leadership in the Business World". It is more like a "taste of Wharton" and costs $5200.

Links to both are here:

<a href="http://www.wharton.upenn.edu/academics/summer/%5B/url%5D">http://www.wharton.upenn.edu/academics/summer/</a></p>

Both involve the month of July in lovely west Philly.

I want to do either lbw or lead but I am not sure which one I should apply to

well if you're not black, hispanic, or native american, don't apply to LEAD

I did LEAD!

I am an Asian Indian.. If it is more competitive then why can't I apply to it

Because it is a program solely for under-represented minorities (URM).

Last time I checked Indian wasn't one of them
