what excatly is Engineering physics major at pitt?

I saw this major as one of the offerings and was wondering if someone can give me a quick brief on the major? like the courses we take and the faculty

I don’t know much about engineering or physics, but a quick search found this:

[Undergraduate Curriculum | Engineering Physics | University of Pittsburgh](http://www.engr.pitt.edu/mems/undergraduate/physics-curriculum.html)

I’d try e-mailing the professors for more information.

I’ve known a couple Engineering Physics graduates (not from Pitt, though) who did very well. You should be comfortable finding your own direction and niche. A degree like that is fine for entering graduate school or a professional school. Maybe you want to be a lawyer working in technical fields; perfect for that.

Could be a little harder finding a regular engineering job with this degree. It’s easier for companies to understand a degree in MechE, CivE, EE, etc., so you will have more of a selling job to do.

Good luck.
