what food is avail on campus

I am in the library and i need to know if there is some map or master list or something of all the food on campus? are there restaurants etc? Where are they. i have not explored campus yet as usually i just come for my morning class and leave.

Is there like a Subway on campus?

[Campus Dining Home](http://www.campusdining.org)

Since Chris already linked to the campus dining site, I’ll just add that there’s a Subway near campus by the corner of Nichols and 25A.

There’s also a mcdonald’s pretty close by, like 5 mins away by car I went yesterday during the admitted student’s day open house. They have cheeseburgers on sale every sunday from 12-8pm for 59 cents lol

Is Jasmine’s worth the money?

depends on what you get. im a big fan of the thai food.

Izzy’s right. Some days I’m into Jasmine, some days I’m not. I’m a big fan of Blue Agave (the burrito place in the union), the grill (the one in the union), Wolfie’s Subs (in the new Roth), and SAC pizza. I bounce between those four places, mostly.

I went to that Subway last week. That was SLOW. There is only 1 guy working there and it took FOREVER.

I know! That line is awful there every day. (Full disclosure: I’d rather Quizno’s down by the Stop & Shop any day.)

Chris

Weird, I must always end up there at off-hours and slow times, since I’ve never seen a ridiculous line! I guess my odd eating times pay off sometimes. Plus generally if I’m eating close to but not on campus, I go for Green Cactus.

What is an awesome place to get a salad? Something like CPK but not as expensive?

Also, what about not quiznos and not subway but a really good local sandwich shop.

What is green cactus?

I have issues with food since i moved to NYC, nothing really looks good to me in terms of everyday food- plenty of things are good here but too expensive. I cant fork over 30+ for lunch. And i HATE sandwiches in brooklyn, 5 pounds of beef on bread is not a sandwich.

Green Cactus is americanized mexican food. Local high schoolers around stony brook love Se-Port Deli all the way down 25A east near the fire station.
