What DOES go on your college resume?

Extracurricular activities, awards, GPA, standardized test scores, name of your high school, rank, work experience, leadership positions, special talents, summer programs.

How does one decide what does on your resume?
[/quote]
You choose the most important of what I listed. It should be condensed. There's no sense writing that you won districts when eventually you became state champion. It also does not make sense to list that you were in Key Club when you attended just one meeting. Choose things that best represent YOU and your abilities and experience within that 9th-12th grade range. (For instance, a 40-year old man with a BS and JD will not list their job at McDonald's when they were 16 on his resume.)</p>
