Michigan does not give aid to international students, unless their home country has a special scholarship fund or Michigan was given a scholarship specifically for students from that country. For example, I know a student from Switzerland that was given a $25k/year scholarship to Michigan, but that’s because an alum has donated a large sum of money to Michigan specifically for applicants from Switzerland. Otherwise, international students should not expect any form of aid from Michigan.
