What good universities are there that offer a low tuition

I am an interantional student thinking about appling to a us or canadian university. i would like to go to an affordable one that is also accredited. i am not sure if i would be quailfied for a schoolarship from the school because mt sat score is 1820 and my M + CR is 1280. i have a gpa of 3.85 and have done both the Csec and Cape exams.

What can you and your family afford? Are you only looking for low cost tuition? What about housing/transportation/book costs etc…?

Think about going to a CC and then transfer to a 4-yr university after a year or two. I know many international students took that approach.

^this isn’t necessarily the best approach since international transfers don’t get any financial aid, except at a handful of universities (such as UAlabama or UMN-Twin Cities) and even there, they’re nowhere near the level of the scholarships for freshmen.

OP: it’d be worth it for you to try again and retake the SAT, or try the ACT.

What’s your parents’ budget?

UMN-Morris and Truman State are decent public liberal arts colleges with a cost of attendance around $20-$22K

For Canadian schools the out of province cost is generally about $14,000 for good schools (university of Toronto, Waterloo, McGill). Much cheaper than american and higher ranked than most.

Financial aid is out of the picture. Scholarship chance is shady for OP too. I would love to see if there are better options.
