what GPA is more important?

ok so does UCLA look at more heavily on the overall GPA or the pre reqs GPA that are on assist more heavily?

lets say my GPA overall is 3.7 but my pre reqs GPA was a 4.0?

how does it work

Cumulative GPA is what they look at.

i know this is a dumb question but what is cumulative gpa?

Cumulative = Overall GPA. Please don’t tell me your first language is English.

Who cares if it is or it isn’t his first language?

Well cumulative is a pretty common word.

UCLA’s College of Letter’s and Science only looks at your overall UC GPA.

If you’re majoring in something outside their College of Letters and Science, then it’s the overall cumulative GPA I believe

if the major is impacted, you can look like on the websites for your specific major, they say they’ll weigh prereq completion or grades in those courses when looking over your application
