I go to school in UC Riverside currently studying computer science as a junior, and am planning on applying to pomona’s computer or electrical engineering program as a transfer. I’m worried sick about my GPA, though. It’s pretty much 2.4 ~ 2.8. What do you think? my ACT score was 31 and high school GPA 3.7 and live in the same county as pomona.

If you’re a transfer student then your HS GPA and scores won’t matter. Since you’re transferring from a UC to CSU, unfortunately you have the lowest priority of acceptance and with that GPA range, I’m sorry, it’s pretty unlikely you’ll get in. I think your best bet is to finished your degree at UCR, get at least a 3.0, then apply to transfer to pomona as a graduate then you’ll have a better shot (if you’re planning on getting a masters), however I’m not sure about this so double check with someone if you can.
