What grade do I need to maintain for winter and spring quarter?

I know that winter and spring grade are not going to affect my chance for admission.

But do UC (mainly berkeley and UCLA) require us to keep a certain level?

I have a pretty good chance to get admitted but I am kinda worry about this quarter classes.

As long as I pass all my classes, would it be ok??

Thanks for answering.

@kan9160 they say it’s fine to earn a C average for the final spring semester before transfer, but it is highly recommended and understood by most to earn at least a B average. It would definitely raise a red flag on us prospective UC transfers with 3.0+ GPAs to suddenly earn a 2.0 out of nowhere if you think about it. I myself will still aim for a 4.0, because that’s just how I roll. :P

When you get accepted they will provide you with a bunch of conditions, one of which will usually be a gpa you need to maintain for the spring semester/quarter.

Usually, they just don’t want you to fail anything…although, there’s some nightmarish stories out there…

^omg. If I ever get accepted, I hope I don’t get his contract, I’m a 4.0 Econ too. X.X

I really wonder about this too, especially for those of us on the quarter system, who will have winter quarter grades around the end of the first week of April…

Different people have different requirement which will statement in the acceptance letter??

Yes, the conditions of acceptance can be highly personalized.

Man that guy’s contract is dumb. He already had a 4.0, why would he be pushed so hard to get straight As his last semester?
