What grade on the 4.0 scale does a 94 on the 100-point scale translate to?

What grade on the 4.0 scale does a 94 on the 100-point scale translate to?

At my school there is no A+ A- etc. 93-100 is an A (4.0 on the scale). 85-92 is a B (3.0 on the scale). 77-84 is a C (2.0 on then scale). 70-76 is a D (1.0 on the scale) and 69 and lower is an F (no credit on the scale)

Depends on your high school (and state) and what you mean by 100 point scale. A 94 is a 4.0 in many states which are on a 10 point scale but is a 3.67 if your school and state are on a 7 point scale. In our high school a 94 is a 3.625; you need a 95.5 or higher in a course to get a 4.0 (a 95.4 is a 3.875) in a true “100-point scale” school. Quite annoying to kids from different high schools whose unweighted GPA’s determine scholarships because it is all apples and oranges, and not every college or organization recalculates (although college admissions officers understand this issue). Of course, different schools use all kinds of weighting scales also. Your guidance counselor or registrar can let you know how your GPA and transcript will be calculated; this information should be on your school’s profile sheet, which is included with your transcript when they are sent out to colleges.
