Any advice?

wrong board perhaps? i used ti 83+

isn't this a SAT forum??

how much does it cost?

Brand new - about 90 -120 $

I use a TI-84+ (non-silver). It's just about right for what you need to do; no need for an 89 or above...

Wait, is a Ti-89 allowed.

^yes.......

^Alright, thanks! Lol, I even don't know why I'm taking the SAT again...

Probably because, even though you most likely have something like a 2200+, you're an overachieving perfectionist?

^Lol, bullseye.

It's okay; I understand how you feel. (I'm one, too)

^lol yeah. I just feel helpless sitting around not doing anything...ya know? I feel like I need to do all that I can to make sure I have the best shot I can have at top tier colleges.

Ti nspire CAS, Price ~150$
My test result 800

TI-89 Titanium as of yesterday. but i used to kick it old school with a TI-83

I don't think there's anything on Math2 that requires more than an 83/84.

but sometimes the ti-89 can save you time.

^ This is true primarily because of the symbolic function of the TI-89. You should do a search for threads concerning this topic. TI-89 also has more RAM.

my life depends on the ti-89 titanium.. well i'm so used to it and other calculators seem complicated to me. i forgot to bring my ti 89 titanium on the day of the sat mathl level 2 and had to use the ti-84. i wasted time trying to decipher this seemingly 'more friendly' calculator.

Really??? TI-89s help that much??

I've always used my TI-83+ and I'm quite attached to it haha but if it means I'll get a better score, I'm more than willing to switch. Especially since my calculus teacher thinks it's a good idea..

I had an 89, and I found it just slowed me down o_O
