Sucks that qualified people can't get in :/ I live right next to Stanford and attend a high school that sends about 15 people there each year. About a quarter to a half of those who get in are legacy students or have parents that donate huge sums to the school. Just makes it harder for the rest of us.

chewie, do you go to gunn?

Hahah, sorry to dig this thread up after all these ages, but I was trying to find something I had posted a long time ago and this came up instead.

Anyways, I'm still very much alive and still very much the CC-addict, just on a different username since people from my school apparently read all my posts here lol. No, I didn't get into Stanford, but as of now, I've gotten into Rice with lots of nice merit money and I got a Dartmouth likely letter a few days ago. Basically, I'm doing pretty well, though I really appreciate the concern. No need for that milkcarton ad just yet. ;]

Anyways, congrats to all the '11ers who got in this year, and good luck to everyone out there still waiting on decisions! Going through this process, as harrowing as it has been and as harrowing as it will be, was made so much better by going through it will all of you guys. cue nostalgic music here hahah. But if anyone ever wants to reach me, just PM me, and I promise to check my inbox once in a while. :D
