<p>I was just looking at the ACC standings, and I was shocked to see Miami dropping so low that they are worse than UNC, and only above the lowly dookies (duke). What happened to the days of the U that I still remember when they were practically invincible? Is miami done as a football program now or are they still able to pick up recruits?</p>
<p>Also, how is basketball down there? Will I get shot if I'm a huge tarheel fan (for basketball) since they're in the same conference?</p>
<p>U football had a down year, but they have a GREAT recruiting class coming in. You have to give Coach Shannon a little bit of time to incorporate his own recruits into his new system. I have no worries, except that they are moving to the Dolphin Stadium (which is pretty nice btw). I will miss the Orange Bowl though, that place had an amazing aura.</p>
<p>U basketball is on the rise... no one will shoot you for being a tarheel fan, but I'm sure you will grow to root for the Canes if you attend UM.</p>
