<p>So I just got an e-mail today via FAFSA, which said that my status has changed for my financial aid, and now it appears that instead of getting the estimated 7k a year, I'm getting nothing.</p>

<p>You might be attending uc davis, is that right? call fin aid office ofr oyur college, they could have made a change in your fafsa.</p>
<p>There are several different types of Cal Grants, and sometimes the UC's will substitute the type of Cal Grant they initially offer. Your status can also be changed if there was a problem with your GPA, Cal Grant eligibility, etc. Theocmom is correct: Call UC Davis' office of financial aid immediately and talk to them about why this change has been made. No one here can reliably answer your question -- the only ones who can are UC Davis.</p>
