<p>I'd like to get a supplementary letter of recommendation from a coach. What happens if the letter is sent January 15ish.. 2 weeks after the january 1 deadline?</p>

<p>i had a problem with Stanford where my letters of rec would be late too. i called them and they said that the important thing was for the app to be submitted in time. they said they were okay with late recs, even those that were past the deadline by weeks. since the adcoms don't start reading apps as soon as the deadline is passed, i think as long as you get your app in on time, the letters can be a bit late. put a note in it explaining your circumstances to cover all your bases, and/or call their office.</p>
