What happens if I do not get credit for a class?

<p>Let's say I missed a class for 20 days and according to school policy, I do not get credit for the class.</p>

<p>So if I had a D in that class; would the D show up in my transcript? Would the D affect my GPA even if I do not get credit for the class?</p>

<p>Depends on the school; at my school, it would still affect my gpa, and I would have to retake the class. Again, your school may be different.</p>

<p>Do you have the option of making up the class over the summer? Our school will allow you to do that and the grade you get in summer school can actually replace the bad grade you got. Talk to your counselor.</p>
