What happens if I don't have form 1099? and other stuff about IDOC

So two of my colleges that I applied to require to sent in official documentation of my family’s tax info return etc.
Lafayette college and Villanova
This is all so confusing

1)My question is how am I suppose to send in the Form 1099 to colleges using the college board IDOC if both me and my parents don’t have the form. The only thing filed were W-2 and tax return 1040.? On IDOC it says that those documents are required…but…we never got any?

2)Also another question is that the IDOC says that I need to give in W-2 for myself a student. I did make money this year, but I never had to file a W-2 and I reported that i made money on CSS profile. Is it okay that I just use the option that I will not get W-2 and choose the option that I will not file W-2?

3)For every document I’m suppose to just scan the papers 1 by 1 and upload them right?

4)Lastly for the verification worksheet for dependent student form. we fill that out by ourselves right?

Thanks. New to this whole process…and no one in my family has done this before…

Why didn’t you get a W-2 from your employer? If you were a contractor, you should have received a 1099 unless you didn’t make $600 from that contract.

Basically, you send what you have. If your parents only received W2 and their W2 shows the income reported on the 1040, the schools will realize there is no 1099.

my manager didn’t give anything to me…so…
