what happens if i dont pass my ap exam?

i was already accepted to ucla for fall 2010... anyways, i have an ap biology exam on monday. i never took the class, but just decided to sigh up for the test. would it affect me negatively if i dont get a 3 or higher? thanks

nope

10 char

no i did that for ap gov comparative and didnt take the exam at all…they dont care at all about AP tests…enjoy ur senior year haha dont worry about this stuff…u should calculate ur standing (sophmore junior standing) based on how many ap credits u have…u can search for a link…if u have soph standing…then by all means feel free to fail it  cause i got a 5 in ap bio and it didn’t get rid of any classes lol, that class was a gigantic waste of time…use cliffsapbio to get a 5

You should try to get at least a 3. A passing grade is worth half a quarter’s class standing.

If you get less than a 3, then UCLA will take away your acceptance and then your parents will disown you and then you will have to flip burgers for the rest of your life.

In all seriousness though, try to get at least a 3. You could definitely use those AP credits to help you graduate early (and avoid paying another arm and a leg er… another year’s tuition)

if I remember correctly, nothing happens if you fail. in fact, when I was a senior in HS, I didn’t even take one of the AP tests that I enrolled for when I learned that I wouldn’t be getting credit for it. So I don’t think it’s a big deal. Email/call if you want to be 100% sure.
