this is my freshman year at my university. im on federal stafford loan. in fall semester i dropped a biology class i was failing. i passed all other 3 classes.
this semester im taking 4 classes and having a hard time. i suffered a severe neck injury last month and its been hard to attend all classes(doctor, pain,etc.). ive kept up with most of my hw and studies. i think i will get by but its looking like i will fail my computer science class. im not sure about my eng 102 class.

anyway if i drop another class will i lose my funding? what if i have to drop 2 classes?

You need to make something called “satisfactory academic progress” which generally follows the same guidelines that the college has so you should be able to find that info out or call or stop in and ask. Also, you need to maintain enough credit load I believe to be considered a full-time student to receive all of your available aid and again I believe that follows the college regulations. Sometimes finaid folk post and they may give you better info, but this is my understanding YMMV. Your advisor might be able to give you some info too, certainly your college’s finaid office could answer the question. While you are hanging on if you were my kiddo, I’d be advising that you talk to your advisor pretty soon to try and figure out how to get you on a more successful path with your course choices it’s only going to get more difficult…English 102…you can handle that I’m sure! Put your nose to the grindstone and do what you need to do…
