What happens if I miss the early action deadline?

Okay, so I submitted my transcript and SSR a month ago and my school's office said that they sent it already but uchicago said that they didnt recieve it??? I don't think i'll have time to resend those two things again by dec 1 although i'll try. So my question is, if I don't have everything there by the deadline, will I be automatically put into the regular decision group or will they not consider me at all anymore? Also will this hurt my chances greatly?

I was wondering how missing parts of an application affect one’s chances. They had not gotten a part of my application until today (even though I sent it weeks ago).

loverainx33: I would contact the office. They received even MORE applications which means even MORE mail. If you already did and they said they haven’t actually received it, then maybe ask if it is possible to be moved to the regular decision round. I doubt it would affect the decision at all, much less greatly.

xavior110: No, as stated above…the admissions office had a lot of mail which I believe they are still going through. Don’t worry about it.

Fax and mail the transcript to them.

They didn’t have mine either, but my GC faxed and mailed all missing pieces of the application Monday. They were updated yesterday.
